Steve has been very diligent and has gone out of his way to support our program. He has become a dynamic leader of our board and has been very passionate in this position. While serving as the county agricultural agent for North Dakota State University and Williams County I had the opportunity to become acquainted with Steve Kemp who was also employed by Williams County as and I.T. specialist. It did not take long to recognize that Steve had a high level of energy and unselfish commitment to his duties and success of staff.
As a county commissioner I am confident Steve will be innovative, listen with sincerity and make the extra effort to search-out the facts to make decisions in the best interest of the county and its citizens. Be assured he will be respectful and make all effort to build consensus.
Steve has the ability to be a strong leader. As a lifelong resident of Williams County he has a broad understanding of both city and rural life. This along with his previous employment that connected him to all county departments, leadership on the Vector County Control Board and his present engagement in private business will give Steve a running-start as a very effective member of the Williams County Commission. Be assured that Steve has the character and persistence to help take the county into the future.
